CHOIR leadership post#1

CHOIR today we had choir it was alright the only thing I do not like about choir it takes up  our lunchtime but good news in week 11 we will be performing to the kauri/whole school assembly the songs are hello by Adele and E-te ariki I can't wait.

My Strengths

The striking strategies I was able to effectively demonstrate during the games we played were……. keeping my eye on the ball.

The throwing and catching strategies I was able to effectively demonstrate during the games we played were…….Look at where I was aiming to throw the ball. Point to where you want the ball to go.

My Next Steps

To improve my striking of a ball I need to…Wide base/ Good stance………….because……………my stance is not very good which dose not make the ball go far.

To Improve my catching and fielding I need to…up your hands or reverse cup as early as possible. ……...because…………..it will help me catch it so i can keep an eye on the ball and work on cacthing the ball instead of cupping my hands.

The game that I enjoyed the most was…rounders………..because……………….I liked using the tennis racket and I Improved my batting.

Should we change the flag?

Today we have been researching about against and should we about changing the NZ flag. I was working with ye-joon . him and I came up with a range of ideas of should It or not be changed we gathered our information from three articles online it was pretty fun.activity

This week I had librarian.


every single Tuesday i have librarian with Amelia and Jessica, Jessica helps us with putting away the books but know we pretty much know we to put everything its pretty fun and we also can easily find books that we like because when we put the books away we learn where everything goes it is real fun espicaly issuing books but we still need to learn about how many books or how the whole system works but overall it is real fun and a new experieance.

gardning and juniors.

Over the past few days we have been doing a couple of things. One of them have been gardening and helping the teachers with juniors .E.g we have been collecting seeds from the flower clover yarrow  but mr m made us make 4-5 envelopes so that we could store the  awesome seed in the Envelope es. We also had to take out the weeds  the weeds were pretty hard to get out of the ground from the food forest. Plus we have also been helping the teachers with juniors by as if example they were helping other kids we could be taking care/playing and and doing activities. It has been really fun and enjoyable plus today I got to help little kids with and painting it feels great to help.

Today me and Lauren went down to the juniors along with the other year 8s  and year 7 who didn't go to camp. And were able to teach them a range of games that they can play independently among them self without a Senior or a teacher.the some of the games me and Lauren played were tricky tag or also known as all in tag,ball tag and sneak up granny.In each group we had about 3-4 people and a pair of seniors when we had a bit of a feed back from the juniors they all had enjoyed the activities. So  overall I had a great time.
