mean midian mode and range Evidince

we had to get 90% here is my evidence from ixl.
I was doing MEAN.MEDIAN.MODE AND RANGE.

WALT: apply the techniques of improvisation to a range of different scenarios.

Improvisation techniques that I have used successfully are,.........listen/go with the flow so it is easy for the next person and I also practised being on the spot.

Improvisation techniques that I would like to have more practice at……thinking on the spot and not copping ideas.

The thing that I enjoyed most about this unit of learning was……..because…….is the alphabet improv games and family portraits.

The thing that I found most challenging during this unit of learning was……...because………name rap because it was hard to rhyme the names.

My favourite improv game was……...because……..alpahabet game because it was funny and easy.

My next step/ something I need to work on further  in improvisation is…….because talking in front of everyone or small audiences.

P.A.L.S number 4

Today for pals which stands for physical activity leaders.Mel Nick and I ran  a game of french cricket,we did not have much people but the game was a success.we did not have to do much because everyone knew how to play. the learner qualities I showed were getting involved not just watching but atcully playing and playing by the rules.overall it was a good game.

term 1 Integrated Learning - Leadership

We have been learning all about What makes a good leader.

We identified that good leaders show 6 main character traits. These are Integrity/trustworthy/resilient/goal focused/active thinker/motivational.

The leadership trait that I think I show the most is goal focused because I get everything done on time and properly.

The leadership trait I would most like to develop is resilient because sometimes when I am in the pit it is a big struggle to get out and not give up.

Something NEW I have learned about leadership is that it is someone who motivates people or individuals to reach their goals.

The SOLO level that I reached during this unit of learning is extended abstract because

(see slide 2 of the leadership modelling book for this) I can evaluate the effectiveness of a leader

My next step in learning about leadership is to apply everything that I have learned about leadership to my own leadership roles.

This week I got involved and showed the respect care values by taking turns on the play ground because the bars are very popular.Also me and Alex and Tracy also like to try different things so we can stretch out if our comfort zone.overall I think my play times have been better than last  years.

Today me and Amelia had library.We have library every Tuesday it is a pretty fun job but the closing is pretty hard.Because some people wont go out but the key is to be respect full but sometimes people wont listen.But overall it is a fin job getting to put away books and issue books.

this is my conclusion for my exposition.

my leaders:  Sir Edmund Hillary and Barack Obama



Overall I think both leaders are excellent leaders.But overall in my own opinion I think Sir Edmund Hillary is the best leader.because of all the the trait he shows e.g resilience/goal focused/active thinker plus his other strengths.And any way every president needs to be the best of the best.And sir Edmund Hillary really motivates people even me.

I can read and interpret a range of graphs

For maths I have been learning to read and interpret a range of graphs. This relates to the National Standards as it meets the criteria of: Delete the ones that are not yours

• I can identify patterns and trends in context, within and between data sets (Year ⅚ standard)
• I can compare distributions visually (Year ⅞ Standard)
• I can compare sample distributions visually, using measures of centre, spread, and proportion (Year 9/10)

this week for pals i was not able to get my buddies to do the job instead me and my friends who could not get there buddies to do there job either decided to run a game.we played  football it was hard at fist to find people but then we got loads

today since it was rainy and windy it was hard because me Alex and Tracy normally play on the play ground but me and Tracy decided to try something different. we tryed  netball it was really fun and i showed the care values by trying not to hit others with the netball.

this week i did choir which is run by Mr mcallum and Mrs evens we were practising for the last term 1 whole school assembly. it was a bit frustrating with having to cope with the distracting and people who wouldn't listen but i tried being resilient and tried to ignore it and do what i needed to do which was sing.

Mean Median , Mode and Range .

I can describe mean median mode and range.

mean: add the all the numbers together and then divide the amount per number. e.g 12,15,22,5,10=55

median: is the middle number out of all the numbers e.g  1.2.3.4.5.6.7.[in order]

mode: is were the number that is repeated is the mode e.g 3.4.5.6.3.4.9.8.3 

range: where you have a numbers in a row and you find the last number subtract with the first.e.g 1.2.3.4.5.6.7   1-7 =6.

I can use appropriate skills and technologies to find and use a range of texts for specific purposes.

For my “Evaluating Leaders” research I have been researching about…barack obama and sir Edmund Hillary.

During this unit I have had to use a range of strategies to find the information I needed on Goggle. This include:

List strategies you used here common sense/type what I want specifically/ read carefully.

I have achieved this goal because… From my other experiences with SML working independently helps me get my work done faster.

My next step is to set a new reading goal.
